Update, sickness, etc.

Well, it's been too long since I've updated. First my current status.

I'm sick. Really sick. Fucking sick.

Sore throat, pain scale of 9/10, fever, chills, broken internal thermostat. Lots of fun. This is the kind of illness that tempts me to go to major international airports and cough on doorknobs.

I went to the VA ER. Who shunted me to my VA doc. Who did a throat swab and gave me throat losenges. I hate her. I asked for viscous lidocaine. She said it'd be overkill. Heck no, it wouldn't be.

Grr.

So I've been comatose ill for the past two days, and this all started on Tuesday with a mild sore throat. Wednesday had it worsen, and Thursday I was up at an ungodly hour in the morning and couldn't get back to bed.

Fuck.
